Industrial Rope Access and Confined Space Entry

ASI performs industrial rope access services with a team of climbers who have specialized training and experience in high angle applications. Rope access provides practical, safe solutions with the ability to solve awkward and troublesome problems that might otherwise cost a disproportionate amount of time and money.
	Rope access eliminates costly, time-consuming assembly and dismantling of temporary work platforms that can cause disruption of production, personnel and traffic flow. The rope access system is removed with personnel at the end of each shift, further reducing the disruption or safety concerns caused by other traditional access methods. Aquatic Sciences has adapted the General Requirements and Guidelines of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) as our standard operating procedure.
ASI has developed a mobile climbing platform for internal inspections of penstocks of diameters up to 28 ft. (8.5m) which is lowered into the penstock to assess the areas of interest.
