TOXICITY TESTING LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Duties:

• culturing of aquatic bioassay organisms
• performing aquatic toxicity tests
• general laboratory maintenance
• support QA/QC program
• some sample collection
• customer service
• some reporting and record keeping

Qualifications:

• two or three year college diploma in environmental/laboratory studies
• understanding of general water chemistry
• understanding of the biology of aquatic organisms
• experience with culturing bioassay organisms an assest
• understanding of environmental regulations
• knowledge of QA/QC practices
• must have valid drivers license
• able to work within a team environment
• able to work with deadlines
• ability to learn new skills quickly

• our laboratory is CAEAL certified
• our company is ISO certified
